Greetings!

I have a few feature requests. :)
  1. Is there any way to define Hotspot actions that trigger or link to applications, settings, etc. on Android? Here are some examples of things I'd be interested in being able to do (via Hotspot click/tap):
    a) Launch the Android Battery screen.
    b) Launch the default Android Clock app.
    c) Launch an custom defined app (eg, a Calendar app such as DejaOffice).
    d) Launch a web address.
  2. I noticed that on the Desktop the Weather Details screen allows you to click on a particular day and then see additional details for that day. However, on Android (at least on the Moto G Android 4.4.2 I have) it isn't able to switch to the additional day details. I can tap on a given day and it highlights momentarily (registering my tap), but it never changes screens. This seems like a bug to me, and it'd be great to have it working at some point. :)

Thanks!
:D

1) Yes you can! Here is an example (tested and working on Android)
viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3910
Depends on who made the Adroid widgets, but you can add this function by yourself though "edit" menu or though the pc XW Designer that will be easier and faster.

I see users make just useless comments and give low vote on playstore without search a bit more the options available!
2) Yes this function is not available on Android yet. This is not a bug since the XW app is still on initial stage! There are still a lot of things and features that will be added..

That's great--thank you! :D

Now I just need to figure out how to get some App Shortcuts to show up in the App drawer (so that I can select them as targets for XWidgets). For example, I can choose "Settings" from the App drawer when selecting a XWidget Shortcut target, but I can't select the Settings->Battery shortcut (in order to go directly to the Battery screen).

I've found a tutorial that may enable me to work around this using Tasker, but if you know of an easier way in XWidget to choose an Applications Shortcut as the target for the XWidget Shortcut I'd love to hear it!

And good to know that #2 is just not implemented yet. I certainly understand that things take time!

Thanks again!

In the drawer you see only the system and your installed apps, not the shortcuts! Was always like this. To use shortcuts you need to long press on HOME screen and select "shortcuts". Now I don't know if the drag-drop dock function works on Android to put a shortcut there, but you can select battery apps (like "Battery HD") , so when click on the app/dock shortcut you will see the battery stats. ;)
Make some tests using the dock widget from the link that I wrote here (in my prev post).
..and yes, XWidget is in development so pls wait for more options and features.

I've just done a couple of quick tests with the Tasker method, and it works great! So I think I'll just go with that (for getting Shortcuts to appear as Apps, so that I can select them as targets for XWidget). Thanks! :)
