is there anything like search function 24 pages quite a lot to browse through

There are widgets with search function that use Google engine..

I reckon you didn't understand my question
I don't want a widget for searching whatever. When I go on the widget list on xWidget is shows me unsorted list of widget. I cannot search for specific widget like only 'calender' etc.

Yes, I didn't understand. When you double click on the XWidget's icon tray on the top of the list appears the "Manage Widgets" and the "Search". You can use both modes to search a widget!
More info: In "Manage Widgets" window click on the "installed" tap on top and use the "short by" or "All categories" options.

now we are getting closer
But that's can done within the software. I'm using another machine right now So, is there any search function on the xWidget webpage?

Hmm... I'm afraid not. The official gallery doesn't have any "search" and the only options are or to use the search of this forum (that not always works) or search in Deviantart writing for example "calendar xwidget". All the widgets are posted there too because all who create widgets have profile in DA! The official gallery has only a few widgets. If you want my opinion the second DA option is best way to find widgets...

key words: "site:xwidget.com/xwidget/widgets/ dock" and so on
