Hey all,

I was looking into using xwidget as a way to display a HTML panel for a wallpaper (specifically this site)

I've managed to get a panel working, and displaying everything correctly, but I can't get it to stay behind the taskbar, and to have my desktop icons on top of the xwidget. Is this possible?


tl;dr - Want to display HTML panel behind taskbar & desktop icons as a 'wallpaper'

Use the Xlauncher in place of your desktop icons, use an alternative dock such as rocketdock. Stack them as you wish.

I think that should work as a normal widget so you need to change the position of the widget using the right click option to bottom
...and if you have problem with the taskbar edit the height of the widget.

I did try editing it to "Bottom" but icons still don't show over it, I may have to use the Xlauncher as mentioned above, though I would rather use my desktop icons still.
