The update button works fine.
As I told you these are for pc version. For add click on options for Android you need:
(connect your phone with USB)
1) Press "Android Mode" button
2) Double click on the "Hotspot" from the components list.
Place it where you need it. (this will be the area that will touch on the mobile)
3) Select from the right the "Core" and the "OnClick" tag.

You can add more than one hotspots. For example add a second one on the "gps" button to directly change the location
with the same procedure selecting "!ChangeLocation" tag.
Press again the "Send to phone" to update the widget.
That's all!

I don't know if the dev will add this feature in the next release/s but for now only the "one touch" is supported for Android.
But the area of the touch is small so this is not a problem at all..!
Don't forget that you can disable the "all widgets menu" from the app's settings (the window that appears when click on the widget) that disable the "right click" options but NOT the hotspots.

Yeap! And keep in mind that the XWidget app is still in development. There are a lot of things that will be added.
...and the XWidget v2.0 for pc will be even better! ;)

Which animation andromeda? If you're talking about animations on Android, XWidget doesn't support (yet?) because of the increment of battery/ram.
