An alternative version of the weather clock widget from the new LG G3.

What's New:
* The background changes according the weather conditions
* New font

Right click for:
- 12h/24h
- Time Zone Settings
- Update Weather
- Weather Info
- Change Location
- Change temp unit

Click on:
- The "arrow" button to Update Weather
- The "settings" button to Change Location
- The "circle" button to check the Weather Details

I don't know why this thread (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4647) is closed, so i'm posting in this one.
While using the widget i quoted and having next to my device a G3 i can see that for the same weather conditions the weather icon in the xwidget is different than the one that G3 has (especially when the weather condition is Rainy or Showers).

Is there any way that we can extract the weather icons fror the G3 device and use them to this widget so it looks exactly the same with original one?

You need to backup the original .apk from your phone rename the .apk to .zip and find the icons inside.

I know that this is an alternative.
I'm using the one from the link you posted (it's the same i think with the link i posted before, isn't it?). I was referring to that widget in here because the thread is closed.
So, since the weather icons are differ to the original, if we can export them from G3, will you make a new widget having the original icons?

Yes! And since you have the G3 it will be great if you can backup the original weather widget and send me a pm with the apk...
(When I made these widgets I found the images/files through Internet so I don't know if the original widget has other differences)

Here is the G3 weather.apk from Lollipop stock rom (i sent a dropbox link with it to you by pm).
When you browse inside the structure of the .apk you'll see that they have added a new one weather widget.
The old one like the one you have already made is still there (but is uses as i mentioned before, different weather icons than those you have used) and the new one in which the clock has a white background and we don't have only the current weather condition but the weather condition for the next day and the day after that (an image after searching on google: https://lh6.ggpht.com/76Fo6EhArv9kTK4Vi ... I would be happy if you only edit your old widget and just add in it the new weather icons, but it could be nice to see the new widget in xwidget too.

Looking at the screenshot I think that it will be better create a new one as "original" G3 widget!

Have you received the pm with the .apk link? I'm asking cause i see my message in both Sent and Outbox folders.

If not i'll paste it in here. It's an app from the stock rom so it's not bad to share it in public.
