Post subject:  How to set relative paths to exe files on USB flesh drive
How to set relative paths to exe files if they are located on a flash drive, when you connect to different computers drive letter changes randomly. I can fix items.hml file manually, but do not know how. <item path = "E: \! Portable \ Soft \ Sysinternals \ autoruns.exe" text = "autoruns" page = "2" /> In the folder E: \! Portablee be XLaunchpadStarter.ehe. Tried <item path = "Soft \ Sysinternals \ autoruns.exe" text = "autoruns" page = "2" /> - did not work.

in my system it is "items.xml", not html;
anyway,

i have tested it and it works for me,
also it works by setting the path inside Xlaunchpad,


make sure:
1. you have typed the path correctly,
2. you have closed XlaunchPad before editing, and start it again after saving file

these options are available:
1. "\" will go to starting drive
2. ".\" will go to starting directory
3. "..\" will go up one level

some Examples:

you can use "\" to start from the root of the starting drive:
example:
<item path = "\! Portable \ Soft \ Sysinternals \ autoruns.exe" text = "autoruns" page = "2" />


if it doesn't working, then try "\" alone to see which drive will be loaded
example:
<item path = "\" text = "autoruns" page = "2" />

Thanks you! it is "items.xml", not html this is translate "google translater" xml -> html
I use "\" to start from the root of the starting drive.
