Hi All, I've started using Displayfusion to manage the windows on my system as when a monitor disconnects it moves all the windows including my widgets all onto another screen. Displayfusion has the means to move windows back to their original place but it has to identify them usually by Process Filename, Window Class or Window Text (what would be in the titlebar) Xwidget widgets all seem to inherit the same class and process as the main application (which makes sense) but the window title is always "" for any widget (which I think should be populated by the "Widget Display Name" under Widget Attributes in the editor) Is there a way to programatically set the window title for a widget so each one has a unique "name" to the OS and can thus be manipulated? (like document.title in Javascript?) Thanks! |

No. The widgets are part of the widget.exe running process. They're not apps themselves to show separately to the OS task manager for example or as an open window of an app. It's something totally different. All the widgets controls are possible only through the program itself. It's about programming language and how the widget's engine works. |
