Hi, I'm getting very often "jpeg error #53" in media players. What can I do to fix that up? |

The covers that are imbedded into the music files are corrupt. The reason might be a bad editing software (I.e. paint.net) that was used to edit those before imbedding them. You have to re-download the songs, or email me the names and I'll get you the good ones. |

Thank you very much for your help - but I don't think "jpeg error # 53" is only due to bad editing software. I'm using Photoshop and "mp3tag" which works fine with Windows Media Player and Winamp - you can see every cover, even those which are not to be seen in XWidget - players. Do you know the exact meaning of "jpeg error # 53"? |

JPEG Error #53 occurs when a large photo with the extension .jpg or .jpeg is inserted in a container via script, causing it to crash. The WMP registers that as a corrupt image and it returns the event "JPEG Error #53". Try inserting lower resolution images (200 x 200 px). If that doesn't work either, it's because of a bug in the script of Xwidget. |

No problem. And I checked it on a random widget and yes, size is the matter. A JPEG, 200x200 px, 70 px / cm worked fine for me. |

I've got it! - It is the resolution. It works fine at 72px. Some of my cover images had a higher resolution. Thanks again for your help!
