Hi guys! I need some help here..

I have a problem while configuring FolderCore.
The problem is my folder shortcut (in this case my music folder) consist of many different folders (I've organized my MP3 files according to artists and albums).
So when I used the %Count and %Size tag for my music folder shortcuts, it only counts the number of sub-folders instead of the MP3 files.
Is there any way to add/modify the FolderCore tag? Specifically %Count and %Size tags.
I need the %Count and %Size tags to be able to retrieve both total numbers and total size of all files including the contents of the sub-folders.

Any help, suggestion or respond would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi qiancang, your parameter's settings are very much similar to mine (except the folder destination of course).
However, the problem's still exist.

If you look at my attachment (please open it at a new tab, it's quite large in resolution), you'll see that my music folder shortcut widget (the one highlighted with red outline), only counts 9 files with total size of 111Bytes.
But, if you see the contents of my music folder in Windows Explorer, you'll see that it consists of 6 main folders. I took 5 screenshots of each main folders properties (these are the folders which my MP3 files stored in), and you'll see that each folders have plenty sub-folders and lots of files.

Is it possible that the structured of my folders, sub-folders, and files causes the problem? Or is it because the large amount of files consisted?
Do I make any mistake in my FolderCore settings?

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi, Maybe because your folder name include "[ ]" ? Can you test other folder path?

Hmm... That's weird, maybe the problem only happens on my PC.
Anyway, thanks for your help Qiancang!

Hi Tony,
I've already thought about the included "[ ]" in my folders' names as the possible cause of my problem.
But there are two main folders containing many sub-folders with "[ ]" in their names, and the FolderCore is able to view the correct file number & total size count.
So, I don't think the "[ ]" in some of my folders' names are the culprit here.

Please see my screenshot attachment below.

Additional info :
- The two correctly viewed main folders are "Movies" & "TV Series" folder located in my external desktop HDD (WD MyBook Essential USB 2.0)
- All other folders are located in various partitions of my internal HDDs (Dual Seagate SATAII 7.200rpm)

File comment: Notes :
- The red rectangle outlines & line is my "Movie" folder which is correctly viewed despite the "[ ]" used in its sub-folders' names
- The two correctly viewed main folders are "Movies" & "TV Series" folder located in my external desktop HDD (WD MyBook Essential USB 2.0)
- All other folders are located in various partitions of my internal HDDs (Dual Seagate SATAII 7.200rpm)
