I've done a little editing on the widget and changed some of the graphs and colors, text and positions with no problems.
I didn't like the weather icons used in the widget so i downloaded some that looked more realistic icons. They were supposed to be coded to accweather like the old one and are numbered the same, 01 thru 44.see the attachments examples of the two files, first one is the style that came in the widget, second is the style I replaced them with.

Problem I'm having is the icons don't change the way they should. Sometimes they will show full sun when it is raining, or thunderstorms or partly cloudy, sometimes they show nighttime in the day and day in the night. sometimes they won't change at all, or they show what the weather is actually like.
Best I remember the icons that came in the widget changed the way they should i haven't gone back and replaced that file yet, so i can't say for sure.

You know while posting the images, I noticed that the original files are numbered 1 thru 44, and the other files are numbered 01 thru 44. I wonder if this might be the problem.

Also i wonder about changed the tags, like i did for the date, not sure if that will work.

On the attachments, i wanted to post the folders and not just a couple of files but I couldn't seem to find out a way to do that and i could only load Five files.
Any help for doing this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I created the "Systemic Widget.
First read this:

About the weather icons, DON'T change the numerical order /name. All should have numbers from 1-44, NOT 01.
If you want to use more that two kind of icons, create two folders, for example "wth1" and "wth2".
Then use these tags for each weather icons:
wth1\${curWeatherIconNum}.png
wth2\${curWeatherIconNum}.png

just to make sure i understand you, this is what i intend to do.
first. i'm going to take the original folder and rename it wth1, place it back into the widget.
second, i'm going to rename the folder i placed in the widget and name it wth2.
third, i'm going to rename the files in that folder that start with 0 to just the single digit,ie 01 becomes 1.
fourth, add the above tags, leaveing the original tag in place.

is this correct?

for your widget,
the important part is this:

about tags, you should add each tag to a separate object, this means:
wth1\${curWeatherIconNum}.png to be used in one object
and wth2\${curWeatherIconNum}.png will be used in another object

and optional part is this:

do these if you want to have 2 series of images for your widget,
for example:
1. if you want to have 2 series of images and ask the user to choose which series to be used
2. if you want to have 2 series of images and both displayed at the same time on the widget
