weather widgets not displaying wind

Post subject:  weather widgets not displaying wind
i tried several weather skins after paying for pro and noticed that all of them the wind speed shows 0 mph
is there a way to fix this? thanks in advance...

Hi. Thank you for purchasing the pro version
1. You mean the pc or the Android version of XW (because this section is for the pc version only)
2. Could you please take a screenshot of a widget with wind speed?
3. Have you tried to change between imperial/metric units from the right click menu to see if the wind speed changes?
4. Have you tried to reload the app from the icon tray (pc version)
Temporary server issue of AccuWeather.com in your region maybe? (because all the weather widgets communicate with that server)
Weather widgets for pc and Android work fine here.

Windows 10 i am running it on my PC, i have a screenshot,
I will try switching to celsius and then back to imperial and see what happens...

edit: when i switched to metric units it displays 27kmh when i switch back to imperial it goes to 0 again....

Let me check that widget because I made it, to see if I forgot to assign the code for that.
But if you have the same problem with other widgets too, it's a problem of the weather server. Normally reloading the app from the icon tray , all the widgets reset .

yes it does this on the 3 or 4 that i tried, so i doubt it is a problem with the widget itself....

Ok, I tested this one and a couple more widgets. The wind speed appears correctly in km/h but not in mph.
When you open the weather details screen and u click on today's details the wind there appears fine.
BUT the fact is that wind is the today's weather. So the problem is for the current weather speed in mph.

I don't know why this happens. Personally I never had this problem testing the widgets, even I always use the metrics units
There is no extra coding for this. Using the default tag code the metric/imperial units change automatically.
Sometimes accuweather server has some temp issues. Happens.. Check how it goes the next days.
I will keep an eye too, and I will report it to the Dev.

about an hour ago the wind started to display again don't know what caused it to appear, but it seems like the issue is solved now... Thank You!

Edit: well I guess I spoke too soon, last reset it went back to 0 again...

I don't know if this helps you or not, but i have noticed after watching it for quite some time, the only time the wind displays other then 0 is when the wind speed is exactly 8 mph, if it goes up or down from 8 mph it displays 0... but every time it does display it at 8 mph...

The sure thing is that the "current wind speed in mph" doesn't work properly, and Tony should check it for the next update..

it hit 8mph this morning again so right now it is displaying again, i think it is really weird that only the 8mph shows up and everything else shows up as zero...
