Post subject:  Widget Icon "icon.png" is not being sent correctly tp phone
Hi,

I am new at XWidget and even though, I am an IT-Professional, I am going through a steep learning curve :)
I modified Jimking's Purity Clock Weather 7 to Cyan with some additions.
When I send it to the phone, an old image for the Widget Icon comes up, see screenshot.
I have deleted everything in /storage/emulated/0/XWidget/*.*
I have cleaned the cache and even tried to manually place the correct "icon.png" in the folder.
Somehow, and old image comes up from a previous design and I can't figure out what goes wrong.
Your help would be very much appreciated.

Hello ChinghissKhan.
Yes I have noticed it too that sometimes the preview image can't replace a new one. But this happens only on the phone where the widget is created/installed. (Be sure that you have pressed the Save button after any modification) . So yes maybe there a small bug there..
Try to install it on another phone and you will see that it appears properly.
To bypass it try to rename the folder AND the widget's name though the designer(same name) . For example "Purity Clock Weather 7 Cyan", refresh the widgets list and then pass it to your phone.
All should be shown fine!
