Avast has been blocking the new version of the xwidget installer as potential malware, it has been reported as a false positive but Avast has finally recognised this as being safe and now allows the installation without a hitch.

Please report any false positives that your own preferred a/v tool flags by mistake.

Let's make Xwidget's new (albeit small) release a success!

Then please go and report it as a false positive. Don't expect Tony to do it as he has other things to do. As that is the a/v tool you use, take ownership and report the various Xwidget .exes as FPs. I did exactly that for Avast and the binaries are no longer flagged as FPs.

All who encounter FPs in their own flavour of anti-virus tool should do the same as soon as possible.
