See those recent posts that I posted to the xwidget forum?

Those three posts show how to implement existing yahoo widget functions into Xwidget. That is how easy it is to add backward compatibility to correspond to the yahoo widget engine methods of doing things. If I can do it, Tony could do it easily in C++.

If Tony followed this approach then he would not have to reinvent the wheel, all the documentation for the YWE would start to apply.

Long term, I think this is one of the most important suggestions I could make. Having a roadmap, documentation and compatibility is the one thing Xwidget should have always aimed for.
