could these movies be added to a weather widget to make animated weather?
If so I would buy these for $10.

Thanks for the trouble Jim but I was thinking more of a real landscape animated like the links I showed rather than icons.
Could those movies be implemented do you think or would it possible overload ram etc

a little choppy on the animations though. It may not be possible to get good quality without putting big loads on the pc?

When you use animatepngs you should take a look 1) at "Interval (MS)". Lower values/more cpu and 2) very important is the size of the images. Bigger images/morecpu.

So I think that your idea of an animated landscape widget will burn the pc!

I hope that XW v2.0 will can hadle better the animations with less cpu usage..

I tried the first and third ones on my Android (AT&T GS5) device, and the weather icons don't show up. Is there a trick to making them work? Thanks.

There is NO way to make them work on Android man!!
1) The pnganimate component is not supported.
2) Any kind of animation is not supported (yet?)
3) Script code can't be reproduced on Android.

When you press the "Android" button to work on Android widgets, on the left down list, they appear only the elements that you can use (for now).
