Post subject:  Weather information not updating as it should
Attached is a screenshot of what happens when I try to update the weather on this widget. I'm guessing here, but I assume you're a company based outside of the US, which makes it difficult for you to check the weather for everyone. On the screenshot, you'll see the name of the city where I am right now, and it lists city, country instead of city, state, country. Is it possible to fix this so people in the US can use it without having to select one of your pre configured cities? Initially, a few months ago, I didn't have this problem, only recently. Maybe it's a problem with the person who designed the widget. Anyway, could this be corrected? Maybe even if it uses a service like Google to pinpoint the area, and then pull the data, but I'm sure using their service would most likely increase your costs.

Like I mentioned in the previous post, if I manually select a city like Osaka or Jacarda, anything outside the US, the weather updates perfectly.

This is the known bug of the last version of XWidget and we have already talked about this in this section.
It seems that sometimes XWidget engine loses communication with the accuweather server.
When you notice this, just restart XWidget from the icon tray (right click on it->Restart) and then all will work ok.

I have same problem. I am in USA.
It happens on both of my phones.
I thought it have to do with accuweather.

Take a look at my screenshots.

I even tried deleting my widget then make new one.
Still same result.

@ELY_M, please read my previous comment..
On Android or try to re-add the widget on homescreen or wait until XWidget re-connects with the accuweather server.
This is an issue with accuweather ONLY.

I said in my post that I did deleted and recreated the widget.
I tried some non-usa cities and it worked.
it look like there is issue with way the usa cities are.
might should use gps info (lat and lon) to get weather.

Sometimes it happens to me too and I live in Italy-Europe. That's why I told you that there is an issue with the communication between XWidget and Accuweather.

This was because AccuWeather.com Weather Server was down,I think they should be repaired soon.
