I am a new user and I think "Xwidget" is a fantastic application. I tried several "Xwidgets" to read the percentage of use of my CPU and none work, all give me a 0% usage. My CPU is an AMD Phenom II X4 940 on W7 pro x64bits.
What can be the problem?

Please make sure your XWidget is v1.82 or the lastest version.

My Xwidget is the latest version.
The only element that does not work is to detect usage percentage "CPU". I tried to edit the xwidget and I found that if instead of showing the percentage, I ask xwidget show the name of the CPU or the speed and displays the data correctly.

It is really strange! To be honest maybe you're the first with this issue...
Try this for example and tell me:

I just visited your gallery in DevianART...really a fabulous collection of xwidget

I tried your xwidget and still does not see the percentage of CPU usage, I send a snapshot (actually was using about 40% and marked 0%)

When you enter the system manager (CTRL + Alt + Delete), do you see any percentage on your CPU usage ?

Post subject:  Re: CPUcore

I've done testing and cpu xwidget faults only on W7 64bits.
I tried installing the W8 64 and cpu xwidget works well, I'm back to W7 64 bit and the problem is reproduced.
Does anyone have an idea to fix it?

I'm on an intel machine with i3 "Sandy Bridge" and w7 64 and it works fine. May be the problem is specific to AMD cores only.
