Hello ace05hun. Thanks for your report. The app has been tested to Android 9.0 too. In any case Tony, is out home these days for some important personal matters , so he'll re-check it asap. Thank you Edit: Android 9.0 has more agressive battery saver options. You need to be sure that the app is NOT in the battery save apps list same as system's guard/ram auto-optimization list. The fact that the widgets stop work after an amount of time shows that the app is blocked/stopped by the OS to save battery when the phone goes to deep sleep or during standby. |

The fact that the widgets stop work after an amount of time shows that the app is blocked/stopped by the OS to save battery when the phone goes to deep sleep or during standby. In my phone, XWidget has turned off the battery optimization In the section of closing the application [task killer] XWidget is blocked, so it is not closed. According to the settings, nothing blocks it from the available options on Android Despite the proper settings, widgets after some time are blocking the same as the entire XWidget As I wrote, version 1.94 works correctly on Android 9 so it is not the fault of Android 9 only XWidget application. It's logical! The only mistake in version 1.94 is "flash 1.jpg during weather update" |

I see. Tony's phone has Android 9.0 and works fine. Strange.. I personally don't have any of these issues because I have Android 7 on my phone. In any case when Tony turns back he will continue the development. |

Yes, this is the best solution for now. The app passed from Eclipse to Android Studio and to the latest sdk and as it seems the transition brought some problems to Android 9. On my phone with 7.0 the 1.97 version works fine. Tony will try to resolve the issues asap returns home and continue the development. Thank you |

ace05hun wrote: Ok, at this point, i think i don't think the isues are gonna get fixed. It was a good app. Shame...... ace05hun the app is not abandoned! Be sure of that. The problem is there is no team behind the development. All the apps come from a single person- Tony. The last period Tony has to deal with some serious problems in his real life that don't leave too much space from the further development and bug fixing. I can't tell you more because it's something really personal from his life.. I'm in contact with him and he knows about the issues. Unfortunately all started from the force-update of the SDK and Android Studio platform from Google. Changing the programming language the issues came out. He told me that he will continue the development/bug fixing asap. We're sorry for the trouble, but as you know real life comes first... |

ace05hun wrote: Any update? No ace05hun. The developer turned XWidget for PC and Android to all free. Now, I don't think that there will be an update soon.. At least for Android.. |
