Post subject: | AccuweatherCore !OpenWeatherWebPage not working on Android |
Hi all, as the title suggests, the !OpenWeatherWebPage function of the AccuweatherCore does not seem to work on Android (tested on an LG G3 and Galaxy Note 5, both running Marshmallow), though the function does actually work on Windows. I am using Android Mode on the XWidget Designer. Also, unrelated to the above issue, but also focusing on AccuweatherCore, I can't help but notice that the times displayed through the AccuweatherCore are always displayed in 24 hour format, and there doesn't seem to be a way to force it to 12 hour (am/pm) format. This affects the display of the update time, as well as things like the sunrise/sunset. Is there any chance we'll be able to format those times to use 12 hour at some point in the future? Thank you for any assistance with these questions, and for XWidget itself, which I think is pretty fantastic! -George |

Hello George. The open AccuWeather.com webpage worked fine. Tested and yes you're right. Seems that something is broken with the last update...(?) One good example is the ZTE Lollipop Clock Weather widget. About the AccuWeather 24h mode until now works like this on pc and Android. So I think that we need to wait the next version of the Designer |

Thanks for the info and for confirming that the open AccuWeather.com isn't working on Android on your end as well. Here's hoping this gets fixed soon, and I'll keep hoping that the next version of the designer will give us the option to use a 12hr clock for any time data from AccuWeather. Also, this is unrelated, but I just wanted to say Thank You to you for all the wonderful work you've done with the fantastic widgets you've done! The one I'm actually working on now is based on your LG G4 Note Original, but I've modified it heavily in order to show the data that I wanted to see. Almost every graphic I'm using has come from your widgets as well. You do absolutely tremendous work!! -George |
