NOT WORKING -
If you use HOTSPOT Android button (Weather Update) or choose from the menu Weather Update, then refreshes the weather ONLY.

I checked autolocation in different places. It works, but somehow not quite correctly. What is it?

Suppose that at 12:00 am at location "A" at 14:00 on location "B" ao at 16:00 in the location "C".
What happens?

The location C when a refresh or press HOTSPOT shows me sometimes location A or B. After several refreshes finally getting the location "C".

Maybe it should clear the cache location? I do not know.
Worth checking out why this is happening.

If it can be improved is OK, if not so be it.

Strangely it all works. I am all the time in the same place, even I do not move about 1 meter. Locator Test by Tony shows the correct position but every time you refresh getting 3 different locations with Accuweather.
I would add that Accuweather app shows the correct location.

Maybe locator is wrong connected with Accuweather in Xwidget.

Can it be improved, check what's going on ??

Yes i gave permission to program, it has acces to my phonestatus and id, GPS position, read external directory, complete access to internet, show network status etc... so not sure what the problem can be..

I don't know since I'm not the Dev, but this happens maybe because the number of the widgets is increased a lot and sometimes the app temporarily can't hadle all the files..
A temp solution: When happens exit and re-open the app, or press "Clear Cache".

Yes if i remove the widget and go in the program the online list works, so i guess its a cache issue or something, anything you can look into? because pressing clear cache and refresh dont seem to work.

BUG:

After switching on internet data widget does not respond right away. You have to wait several seconds to worked hotspot or menu.

I wanted to say that the online list now works so it seems you made something so thats good.

I don't know if Tony did something, but I manually re-build the html-page of the server where all the widgets are uploaded, some days ago..
Since the number of the widgets increases maybe it needs to do this periodically to make the list load properly..I don't know.
But I'm glad that it works again for you.

OK Tony. I'm waiting because I can not use it. Clock refreshes sometimes after 5 minutes. Only that this problem is only when I turned off the data to save battery. As I am using LeanDroid. Had the clock was dependent on the data in the background? So it should not be. Maybe it's better to use the system clock?

Clock not dependent on the data at all,just uses the system clock,
I had test XWidget on many phones and no this problem...
I think this problem is because your phone set the data on/off very frequently, and xwidget will update weather when data on/off state change....

I had uses Kitkat on my Nexus5 many month, but not found the clock update problem. Unless user uses some "Kill processes" or "Release memory" app to kill the XWidget's process ,then the XWidget's clock will not update.

After some tests if you still can find any bug for the clock update, I think that should be add this in the Changelog description like
"Do not use any "Kill processes" or "Release memory" app to kill the XWidget's process , because then the XWidget's clock will not update. Or if you use any of these apps add it to the ignore list". (or something like this)

I don't know if Slavoo can provide you more info, but let me test on my second phone SGS with 4.4.2 cyanogenmod 11.

As I told you guys I tested on my SGS 4.4.2. I added two clock widgets one analog and the other digital, I let the phone all night (wifi off, no data activated, no task killer app installed) and both clocks work ok..

And yes, since other widgets work/update correctly, something is wrong with XW.
Let's give a little time to Tony to investigate.

LeanDroid turned off. I turned off the data connection. I left the phone alone for half an hour. I turned on the screen and then the data in the background.

Is possible to improve the clock hand movement for secs? I know that we avoid it for better ram usage, but since XW supports seconds clock hand why don't use it sometimes..?

Thanks izmiryooo. The only thing that I can tell you, is that the shortcut icons apparently are saved in the widget's folder like on the pc version of XW when we use the shortcutcore for docks. This because the widget will load the shortcut's icon for there after the first run.
The fact is they remain in the folder even after the shortcut is edited or changed.
Now, on android, and since the "click on" option to launch an app doesn't use the icon, yes I agree that it will better if the icon doesn't exist in the folder. But I don't know if this can be changed..

Yes, of course you can! Backup ALL your files/apks, do a factory reset and wipe data, and flash the new rom as the first one (be sure to enable "repartition" before you flash).

I was anxious and installed a new rom. Maybe XWidget on it will work just fine, because I want to use it.
We'll see. I test.

A little worse this rom from kitkat, but at least Xwidget works. I'm just waiting now to improve autolocation that showed just as Accuweather and I'm happy: D

Finally @Slavoo!
Now you can understand that needs work and time and maybe is not possible 100% to make the things work properly for all.. There are so many ROMs out there.. You see by yourself, a small variation of the rom, and the app works.

I noticed that quite often when you turn on Internet data, after 2-3 hours of inactivity, Xwidget not automatically updates the weather, although I have set every 15 minutes. I have to press the hotspot update weather, so to update the weather. This problem does not always occur, but by far the majority of cases.

XWidget will update weather when you turn on Internet data. You can check the "Update Time" in some weather widget.

From today morning my weather widgets on my phone shows me the weather icons as night.
The phone's time is ok, the time zone is ok, I tested with clock widget with different background for day/night and is ok, BUT my weather widgets as the weather info screen show me wrong time of the day...!???
The weather says that is updated but I think that is just stuck...

I don't know if is an issue of XW with the communication with the accuweather...
The pc version of XW works ok.

I have added to the widget refresh time on the server and is often from a previous time. No but it is a serious mistake.

Another thing is sometimes when you refresh weather show a picture 1.jpg of weather. After a moment, shows the correct image compatible with the weather.

What is a directory "cache" in the folder "weather"? After all, anything that's not needed.

For me it is the same. Set the variable "time server" and not "refresh time". You will see that the last refresh is the night. For me it is 23:35

Ok, but happens 1/2sec during update and only on the first run of each widget with weather.
Same thing on pc version. Surely not a big deal mate...

But the question why is it that for a moment 1.jpg shows up?
Where did it come from, for what purpose?
It made me wonder. I know that this is not a big problem disturbing, but it should not be that way.

On a PC, this problem does not occur.

Sometimes happens on pc too.. But more rarely because the memory management is totally different between an Android app and a pc program.
