This is a demo showing how the Steampunk Nixie Tube Widget looks on a Windows 8 tablet.
Bear in mind that this is a 7" tablet, more of a phone size format than a standard Windows desktop.
I am now tweaking the widgets to run in Windows 8 in landscape/portrait modes. They seem to work
in this larger form on a smaller format device looking like phone-style widgets rather than desktop widgets.
This shows a combination of Yahoo and Xwidgets, the Nixies and the volume widgets are the Xwidgets the others are Yahoo types.
