I see but I don't understand the difference! The section is called "Share Your Creations" and the forum here is for this reason: post and share widgets...
I have to ask Tony about this, but all the topics here should have the widget/file attached, I think..

So, define the rules: every user MUST upload his works or do not post it EVER.
As I remember, there's no such words (for now). Everybody knows, YouTube (for example) has button "share" but it doesn't means download.
Or am I wrong? Anyway I can't see problems.

Sorry but your example with the YouTube is irrelevant... There the first function is to share video!

Here how the thinks work in a FORUM @dezinto:
If you not were so suspicious and hasty maybe you should spend 5min to send a pm to me or better to Tony to explain you some things!

1)Please show me one normal FREE SHARING forum where the users don't upload their FREE work NORMALLY creating a topic, but share it only though pms..! I asked you many times and still I don't have a real anwser from you: WHY?
Why you deny and it's so hard to you to understand that you need to attach your files in the topic??
Except the case where you want to sell your work or you want to earn money from the dl links that you give.
ONLY THE DEVS WHO WANT TO SELL THEIR WORK DON'T POST THE FILES!!!
But as I know is not your case, RIGHT??? Except I'm missing something.........

2)If you want to be part/member of a forum, you should RESPECT RULES. And this rule is 100% LOGICAL!

3)ONLY the staff members with extra privileges can use the official gallery. And why not all can upload their work there? The reasons are simple:
- All the widgets there are posted through a chinese server, where a special registration is needed and the process is not so simple as here!

- In the official gallery we can upload ONLY one file .xwp (not zip or rar) <10Mb
(As I see almost all your creations are suite widgets. So it's not pratically possible)
- Imagine a free uploading system there, where everyone can post everything they want!
The official gallery is connected to the program and it's not an open sharing gallery like Devianart!
So, CONTROL = NONE!
Also everyone will start to ask "why you don't post my widget", "it's not fair" etc
That's why there is this forum!!! And don't worry. XWidget users know about this forum! The official gallery is only a small part without meaning that the only widgets available are there!

4)With your behavour not all users who visit the forum can download and use your work. Don't forget that there are LEECHERS who want only to dl and use a widget without necessary create a profile.

5)Tony promoted me to a Mod, because I have experience in this section and because he's too busy with the programming and in his real life, so he has no time to control the forum here, clear the spams, check and upload to the gallery!

6)I,for example wanted to check this widget and when I have time posted to the gallery. But how the f... can I do it when I didn't know that I have to send you a pm, and that you share your work only though this??? As you can see from here I asked you first!
Maybe it was too selfish and hard to send me a pm and discuss it?!

7)Don't forget that the boss and the Admin here is Tony, NOT ME! That's why I asked him if a user should upload the .xwp file here...

If, after all these reasons, you don't want to cooperate with us, it's your right... Really I don't understand why you act like this...
I repeat(!), if you want to sell your work and use this forum it's ok, and we will respect that. But if your work is free I don't see a logical reason why you don't want to upload the damm files in the topics.
The staff here will be happy and we want to have quality skinners like you, and you know it! People who first of all WANT TO SHARE.

It's up to you...
