This is my old Yahoo CPU/GPU Thermometer Widget being updated. Some new graphics and new functionality including working graph and new use for the gauges. Updating and improving the Yahoo widget now and then will start to convert it to an Xwidget. ![]() |

Changes include: The two gauges can now be used to monitor additional sensors, further gauges can be summoned if required. Sensor selection is much easier simply by clicking on a sensor a pop up list of sensors appears. I am adding code to read sensor information from Open Hardware Monitor and CoreTemp as well as Speedfan which is the default sensor monitor used by the widget. The scribe images change in synchronisation with the sensor selected. |

Slowly making changes: Has four working gauges plus the two thermometers allowing up to six sensors to be displayed. The valves operate the gauges, adding two new when required. The text on the paper now moves in synchronisation with the traces. Plenty of new menu options. |

Just a quick update, not as fast as some as I have three kids, three cars to maintain, two houses to repair, three parents to look after and a wife that has high expectations. ![]() |

Just knocked up the help for it. ![]() The image above will be useful on the widget's help page but will also go into the widget itself when the HToggle is pressed. The help image will be overlaid upon the actual running widget summarising what each function does. I am adding help functionality to each widget as I realise these steampunk utilities can be a little hard to fathom (for the uninitiated). |
