I threw the widget together just for testing so no criticisms please . Included in the package is a dll I wrote to let you get the email count AND grab the actual email ( subject/body etc ).

Just edit the widget and you can see that the scripting is really short and easy.

I was hoping to use the gmail core to give me the username and password but that doesn't seem accessible so I am using those ugly memo fields you see now.

I don't think you'll need to register the .tlib file that is in the package but if you have to there is also the utility to do it included.

Let me know about any problems etc, this is most definitely hot off the presses and likely more than a little flakey right now.
